Hi to all

I'm having a problem with my Hack. All works great but when i try to shutdown it just goes in reboot.

Tried -Fixshutdown in clover - nothing
Tried to install clover with NVRAM as someone suggested it fixed their problem - nothing
deleted all powemanagment files in /library/preferences - nothing

just can't seem to get it work

I copied the Problem report for macOS and it seems to me that some USB issues are problematic here

but I just don't know where to go from here, please help

I atached my clover.plist and problem report

THANKS

Hello

once again, I fixed it all by myself so thanks.

Just changed SMBIOS to MACPro and bam everything works

Respect to all that care

People do care, but this is a common problem and many don't know an answer.

This is because everyone's hardware is unique including, for example, bluetooth adapters. Bluetooth and USB are common culprits of shutdown problems. It all varies with macOS version and, as you've discovered, system-definition.

I suspect a lot of people just live with the annoyance.

Glad you sorted your problems

Hi there
I've got the same problem! How do I do that change, buried in mind I'm a complete novice to Mac OS! Any links?
Regards

Hi

you should download Clover configurator, and open your clovers config.plist

Bare in mind that your config.plist is in your EFI partition, so you will need to mount it first with Clover configurator.

Then once opened you should get to the SMBIOS and change that to MAC Pro XXversion.

Do a complete backup first, because what worked for me may not work for you. Hackintosh bussiness is mostly try and repeat.

Hope I helped you at least a bit.

Best regards

Marko

I have a system similar to yours, and I am having the same issue where my system does not shutdown properly.
It reboots, and then I get the "Your computer was restarted because of a problem." It seems to work fine otherwise.

I tried your solution and a few others and I did not have the same results as the issue is still present.

Perhaps someone can look at my kernel panic and tell me what is wrong.
