Hackintosh for photography

I've got an HP 9010 SFF with i7-3770 that only cost me about $200 total. Less than the cost of a new Core i5 CPU by itself. Runs HS or Mojave with the built in HD4000 graphics.

For h264 and h265 encoding and decoding do you need a Haswell CPU at minimum for that? Any Haswell or Skylake models at bargain prices, it may depend on country if user as well.

It has Quicksync of course and can encode, decode H264 but HEVC/H265 is only Kaby Lake or newer.

The HP 800 G1 and G2 models are Haswell and Skylake respectively. Those can be found at reasonably low prices on Ebay now. pastrychef has one of the Skylake 6700 i7s in his HP G2 SFF and likes it.

Where is your CPU cooler ? The 9600K doesn't have one in the box when you buy it.
