OK. let me check.

attached is the EFI/CLOVER contents when I was able to reach the disk utility inside the installer.

You didn't press F4.

Hi RehabMan,

does it matter if I have my SSD plugged in place of CDROM bay?
I have removed the Optical disk drive an used a caddy to plug in the SSD. The SSD is visible and accessible from Windows OS.

At least my HDD should have been available in the installer. my HDD is partitioned with MBR.

One strange thing to note. SATA Configuration form shows the SSD listed at SATA Port1.
But in the Boot form, SSD is not listed at all.
Does this mean BIOS is not able to see the SSD correctly?

Also, attaching some HardwareIDs taken from Windows 10 OS.

If Clover is not seeing the SSD when booting Clover from another device (such as USB), make sure "fast boot" is disabled in BIOS.

Hey RehabMan!

Thanks for helping me in my quest to install mac on acer aspire.

I am now I have stopped working on this laptop. The other day this laptop refused to boot and would not allow to even get into BIOS. So, I returned it and now got a Dell Vostro and working on it. I will post a separate thread with the progress and hopefully it will be a fully functional one.

Thanks!
