The 6950 graphics card is not supported in OSX. You need to replace it with a supported graphics card like a Nvidia GT640 or GTX660 Ti. Otherwise your system seems to be OK.

So do you mean to say I absolutely NEED to have an nVidia Card? Or can I get by with a few hiccups with the AMD Card? I'm just not willing to drop another $250 to get a card equivalent to what I have now...

You may be able to load OSX with that card, but in the best scenario you still won't be able to change the display resolution (probably stuck with 1024x768). Due to this some software simply will not work. Can you stand that?

Older AMD cards like the 5770 and 6870 can also work, but newer 7xxx cards are not supported. The current Macs from Apple use Nvidia (or just Intel CPU graphics) and not AMD, so new Nvidia cards like GTX660Ti / GTX670 / GTX680 are supported.

Okay thanks a lot!
