Hi,
I'm new to hackintoshing and built my first one this week.
First it was rebooting instead of powering off. It's ok now.
I can put it to sleep and to wake up, but no video after that.
I'm using iGPU (intel 530)
I'm using iMac17,1 for now.
MacPro3,1 didn't boot.
Any ideas? Should I post here something about the computer to get help?
Here's my configuration:
I7 6700k
mobo: h170m-d3h
32GB DDR4 Ballistix sport
SSD Samsung 850 EVO 500GB
Corsair RM650X (power supply)
Sierra install
If this is not possible, I'm considering to buy a dedicated GPU (for FCPX use) if this solves the problem.
I've read about AMD (ATI) being the best option for that, but I'm confused.
I've read about XFX not being reliable (they are cheaper in my country).
I thought about RX 480, but I don't know which one will solve the wake up problem.
Thanks for reading and your help. It's too bad the need to turn off the computer every time.
