Guide To Install Mavericks with Clover Bootloader

Hibernatemode wasn't changed for me with the update, it remained set at 0.
 
I am installing 10.9.2 on a 2170p, at step 11, the computer is stuck at the gray apple and rotating circle.

What are the specifications of your 2170p? CPU? Screen resolution? Graphics configuration?

Standard screen resolution (1366*768)

Hit the spacebar at the main Clover screen.

Make sure you're using the corresponding config.plist.

Must be the config.plist, I use the USB stick I previously made for a 450 G1.

Is there a way to correct this or I need to start over from scratch?

Copy correct config.plist to the USB's EFI/Clover/config.plist.
 
10.9.3 released. Yet another painless update thanks to the vanilla clover method. :headbang:

Everything worked like a charm , i just love the clover-vanilla setup ;) . It feels exactly like a real mac the update process
 
When I tried to make a Windows 8 USB stick with Rufus, I got a message saying that the ISO contains a file bigger than 4GB that cannot be copied to a FAT32 partition.
What can I do ?

Use the original Windows 8 ISO. All the original iso files are < 4GB.
