What are the specifications of your 2170p? CPU? Screen resolution? Graphics configuration?

Make sure you're using the corresponding config.plist.

Must be the config.plist, I use the USB stick I previously made for a 450 G1.

Is there a way to correct this or I need to start over from scratch?

Copy correct config.plist to the USB's EFI/Clover/config.plist.

10.9.3 released. Yet another painless update thanks to the vanilla clover method.

Everything worked like a charm , i just love the clover-vanilla setup . It feels exactly like a real mac the update process

When I tried to make a Windows 8 USB stick with Rufus, I got a message saying that the ISO contains a file bigger than 4GB that cannot be copied to a FAT32 partition.
What can I do ?

Use the original Windows 8 ISO. All the original iso files are < 4GB.
