Hmm could be that your MacBook is 32bit and the aisl61 executable is 64bit only.

You /should/ be able to install using the black ports and then run the script directly on your hack.
It doesn´t seem to be working, at least for me. Anyway, I installed back the old hardware (Core 2 Quad) + Mountain Lion and generated the files there. With these files I reached at least the Desktop on Sierra, but without audio.

I still need to use audio_cloverALC-120.command, even if I´m not updating from El Capitan? (it appears only in the Update to Sierra section of the guide, and not in the Post-Installation Configuration part) Will try later...

Thanks (again) Cnrd for this guide!

Everything is working smoothly: audio, ethernet, wifi, bluetooth, USB and graphics on 2 monitors (DP+HDMI).

However, I have one annoying problem, when I wake it up from sleep, my hack is completely frozen...
The monitors turn back on, but the cursor doesn't move anymore, the menu bar clock is frozen and the keyboard seems to be off (LED off).

For what it's worth: oddly, after a few minutes (according to the energy saver preference pane settings), monitors turn off and I can reactivate them by pressing the power button... But the hack remains frozen and I have no choice but to hard reboot.

Please note that, for testing purposes, I have installed Sierra on an external USB hard drive... So maybe an USB PM issue?

Anyone experiencing this behavior?

Thanks for your help.

Probably a USB PM issue, I have to remove all USB devices before sleep or I'll get that unmount devices before pulling them out notification. (No fix currently available, we will need a fully patched DSDT for that and I'm not able to create one).

I've connected my HD to an internal SATA port and no more freeze at wake.
Sierra seems to have the same USB power management issue as El Capitan...

Yep (and some real Macs), I'm sorry, but that is one of the problems I'm unable to fix, I don't know enough about DSDT patching to do that.

I'm unable to get the Unibeast install key to boot - goes to a kernel panic. (see screenshot below)

[for some reason my build details aren't showing up: i7 6700k, GA-Z170X-UD5 TH, GeForce 285 GTX]
Turns out it was the graphics card. I upgraded to a GTX 980 and all is fine now.

Don't be sorry, you've already done a lot for us... :)
In any case, my future Sierra volume will be internal and I'll use SafeSleepUSB for my external Time machine HD...
