The files you attached in post #506 prove your assertion false.
Anyways, sir, the AptioMemoryFix.efi solved the issue maybe, you are proven right as always sir, much love! :D

I installed Mac High Sierra on my Levono Z50-70 - it is working ok, but the internal keyboard/mouse are not working, I have an external one connected. Any ideas?

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

Thank you for your reply. Apologies for the duplicate, I was meant to post it here but had the wrong tab open. Should've deleted it from the other thread in hindsight!

I made progress:
  1. I used external keyboard to operate the system temporarily
  2. I installed RealtekRTL8111.kext to get online
  3. I followed all instructions including ./X50.sh --download-requirements && ./X50.sh --install-downloads
  4. I booted without cached kexts (with -f boot arg) and ran sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /
  5. I ran make && make make install_z50
  6. I finally ran ./X50.sh --install-config and rebooted
The keyboard and trackpad work now, but the screen is showing garbage (see attached):
  1. I tried to read through the thread and I tried setting FakeID: 0x12345678 as instructed in post #177, there was no change and the display is still showing garbage.
  2. I tried reading through the FAQ, maybe I missed something, but I didn't find an answer to this problem and couldn't find mention of gen_debug.sh.
  3. I tried to google and found this: https://github.com/black-dragon74/OSX-Debug/blob/master/gen_debug.sh - I hope that's the correct tool. Here is the output from this tool: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lx1gmgg8lh770mg/debug_1056.zip?dl=1
Any ideas why the screen is showing garbage or how to fix?

EDIT: This is the cheap version of the Z50-70 with 8GB ram, no discreet CPU, purchased in Aug 2014.

Enable CSM/legacy boot as per guide.
OMG, I totally misread that, I thought it means to enable legacy boot only after trying UEFI first. I didn't know enabling legacy boot can affect graphics. Thank you, the problem is fixed now! Woo!!

I purchased a Broadcom BCM943602BAED and it is too wide and does not fit to replace the original Realtek RTL8723BE :( - Is there a specific model I need or did you have to modify the hardware to make it fit?
