It is a bit wider than the slot yeah, but you still can make it fit if you try gently. You can start by placing it under the plate, then moving it to its slot.

Ah, you're right, I managed to slot it in :D

Update: I got it all working, battery life is great, sleep works, wifi is faaaast, thank you, everybody, for these fantastic guides!

Can you please have a look at my debug files?

I have the Lenovo Z50-70. Everything except the wireless is working. Well, the headphones out used to work, but doesn’t currently. I have the Atheros AR9565 card which shows as QCA9565 / AR9565 Wireless Network Adapter under DCPIManager’s PCI List. I would love to get the wireless working. Thanks a lot.

Install recommended Broadcom WiFi as per guide/FAQ.

Solved by installing AR9565.10.13.v21.zip from Chunnann

Hi guys... I was using the guide since a while... Yesterday I tried to update the patches from github and then rebooting.. Now the system boots up but the fan starts to spin faster and faster and then the system auto-shutdown... At that point I tried to reinstall clover and macos again but when I'm able to boot the system without the z50.aml hotpatch with that the fan starts to spin noisily and then the system shut down in one minutes... I'm not able to produce the required files because the system is to fast to shut down.. I don't know what to do...

Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use spacebar and boot without cache, try to reboot twice without cache, a friend of mine had this same issue on the z50 model after the BIOS flash and after two reboot without cache seems resolved, didn't had this happen again in months

Not much I can tell from there.

You should probably make sure you updated everything as per guide (eg. don't attempt to update ACPI content without updating config.plist or vice-versa).
Easy enough for you to verify.
