ELAN and SYNAPTIC are very tricky. Every person has different ways to manage this. Try to help you modifying configuration into SysPref>Trackpad

hello i using lenovo legion y530 ...i want install catalina but it always stuck on HID:Legacy shim 2...i have change different usb port and change with pendrive usb 2.0 and 3.0...but nothing changes

have you tried advanced BIOS options?
are you using latest 3.0.0 efi folder?
