Probably a question to SkullD3mon or anyone who has changed the wifi card in Spectre. The card in HP Spectre looks like this:

The BCM94352Z like this:

Weren't there any problems to connect to the different layout at the top of the card? Is the length of the wires enough? Do they go through to required spots without abusing them?

Thank You!

No problem at all. I am using the BCM94352Z for half a year now and didn't experience any issues.

Hi SkullDemon,
I have the exact same laptop as yours with the 6500U... I was wondering if your battery drains fairly quickly. I think I get about 4 hours of usage. I find that every time I restart my computer that I would have to readjust the brightness to a lower brightness setting so that it doesn't use the battery up faster. I also noticed that my remaining battery life gauge fluctuates up and down. Is there a remedy for this. Also I was wondering if you have glitchy trackpad movements when you accidentally touch the touchpad while typing. Let me know thanx..

Can anybody confirm if the capacitive pressure sensitive feature of the touchscreen works? I really doubt it but it would be so awesome. And I still have to buy the BCMXXX wifi card, that's the reason I'm too lazy to install it myself :p

Thanks in advance

Good Morning,

First of all thanks to all contributors on this site for having such massive knowledge base available for free to all.

I am relatively new to the Hackintosh scene, however i am quite a lot experienced with building and running windows system.
How i recently bought a HP Spectre x360 with the following Specs.

Processor: Core i5 6300u
RAM: 8 GB
SSD: 256 SSD
Wifi: ordered the broadcom card mentioned on the thread

Now i wanted some basic guidance as to start and also is it possible to partition the existing drive and run Hackintosh along with windows.

Many Thanks Guys, Hope to hear from you.
