Hello. I have a question for You.
I'm going to buy this laptop and I read on this thread that I must replace the wifi chip with NGFF-BCM94352Z.... but on ebay, as you can see below, the seller writes :" NO Support for HP and Lenovo Laptop - DOES NOT WORK IN HP/Compaq and Lenovo Laptops !!!"
( http://www.ebay.it/itm/Broadcom-BCM...088610?hash=item1a0e9978a2:g:D74AAOSwezVWzIIg ).

Can You help me, please?
This chip will work on hp spectre x360? If not, what one I would buy?:banghead:
Thanks!!

i tried before, it works like a charm, and there's a new about hp no longer has white list for recent 2 years' laptop product

hi,SkullD3mon

could you tell me what color profile to set in order to fix the issue of white settings-bar on top?

also, did you encountered any sleep/ wake up problem?

thanks!

I use the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 Color Profile.
Hope that solves the problem for you:).

(System Preferences-->Displays-->Color)

thanks a lot, now it's working perfectly :thumbup:

Anyone of you pros that could help me with the install against compensation?
My idea is to use it as amateur DJ with Djay or other SW. Touch is nice!
Thanks Stefan

The problem you are having is probably related to the different versions of the laptop. Therefore they may have different batteries. Anyhow during my attempt of creating a battery patch for the spectre x360 i7 U6500 I found that the patch for the "HP-DV6-3165sf" was exactly the same. I tried to apply the patch and it worked for me.

In order to check if your battery behaves the same or where the your DSDT needs changes check this guide by RehabMan:

If you are having issues feel free to ask. I will try to answer as soon as possible. :)

The config.plist I use was made by Rehabman. You can find it here: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config?files=1
---> Download the config.plist which fits your configuration (e.g. Intel u6500 ---> download HD520_.plist).

Every kext I use is mentioned in the guide.

Hope that helps :)

Yes this saw.
But as we always do small changes
and because every detail is important would be more clear.
Never mind, thanks for your answer bro.
