That's the fix that I used. Didn't add the VRAM line though.
So you confirm it is working? What was the exact text?

Was able to get everything working in Mac OS Sierra 10.2.4 and even upgraded to 10.2.6. Tried the inlace upgrade that but didn't seem to work. I have another option in my Bootloader and when I try to boot to it it just stays at the Apple logo.

It seems that many are having the same problems with High Sierra. Could you try removing the 710 after you shut down and then use the DP output and the HD4000 graphics ? You can use a low cost DP to HDMI adapter if your monitor doesn't have DP intput.Thank you for the previous advice. I took it and did not cook the firmware or the mobo, by messing with firmware updates.
I have made some progress, I got to format the internal SSD from utilities, and then install the OS, once the OS has been installed, the machine restarts.
Upon restart, I now see two icons on the screen, one for usb install w the HS icon, and the other the internal HFS formatted with the HS icon. I click on the HFS formatted HS icon, and the machine restarts,
the white apple icon in the middle of the black screen appears. The white progress bar begins and then hangs.
Any suggestions.
Thank you,
OS

Before and got a black screen, I don't think it works
