[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch

yesterday there was a security update through app store and after update my audio get disabled

there is no output or input devices show in my preference

so do is there something i can do directly only for audio or i need to follow the full steps provide in the thread because iam afraid if follow all or something will crash something else

my laptop is proBook 6470b using el captian version - clover version 4035

As per post #1, boot without caches, rebuild cache, reboot.

i dont have this option " boot without cahses "

but try to reboot many times till its work =/ strange

Update your copy of Clover.

Yes, eventually, it corrects itself without help (but better to force the update via boot without caches, rebuild cache, reboot).
 
@RehabMan I have this wifi combo card : BCM94352Z / DW1560 from ANATEL , NGFF 802.11ac 867Mbps Wifi Bluetooth card Wireless-AC + BT 4.0 Combo Network Adapter,
my question: is this card working with airdrop, so that one can send files from iPhone to Mac?

Has anyone got this wifi combo card to work with airdrop as above desired?

Using macOS high Sierra 10.13.0.

it just says ... failed to send file . iPhone interrupted file sending .

Problem is this breaks "completely black" level of backlight on my 4540s.
You end up with a backlight that is very dark, but not black as it should be.

Special case added for the 4230s to have low backlight level of 1 instead of the normal zero.
Will not affect other laptops.
The fix is by providing a way to override PNLF._UID with RMCF.BUID.
Change is checked into the beta branch.
