>>> Your time is precious***

I made a new installation of macOS Sierra on HP Elitebook 840 G1 with UniBeast and following this guide.

Some issues appeared like Logitech wireless mouse freezing mainly when external HD is plugged and transfering.

During some witnessing on kext-to-patch (plist) i saw display port patches... then i read somewhere "4 ports", i thought maybe the VGA port is working... When plugging it on Monitor was a absolute surprise, it worked instantaneously. It was able to extend the desktop, mirror, change resolution of both monitors... full working...

***>>>Here's the question >>> I cannot make VGA work anymore :(. If i send it as problem reporting would i have help?

This guide does not use Unibeast.

Your brightness keys may be F2/F3 (without Fn).
You may also need SSDT-KEY87.asl instead of SSDT-KEY102.asl (look at SSDT-4x30s.dsl).
The fan will run as needed to cool the system. If you have something using CPU resources (such as spotlight indexing), the fan may run for a while until those tasks are completed. Check Activity Monitor.

patchmatic -extract output is missing. No further analysis possible.

External mic requires use of a stereo->mono adapter.

--> right. no need fn key now. return 87, i can fn + brightness.
--> sometime failed brightness dark to increase brightness. also seems max brightness is different than boot or wakeup.
i will find exactly

patchmatic -extract output is missing. No further analysis possible.
---> now attach it.

External mic requires use of a stereo->mono adapter.
----> okay 3.5mm stereo to 3.5 mono adapter.

Please. Point me the difference... Should i install again using createinstallmedia?

You can use Unibeast, but you would need to tweak the configuration after using it.
And you didn't provide "Problem Reporting" files anyway.
Like you didn't actually read post #1.

Note: VGA is not supported.

I assume no issues now. I will make a custom SSDT for 4230s and install_acpi.sh script (even though they are rare).

You might want to check the USB ports in case they are different than SSDT-USB-4x30s.asl.

snow leopard does not support the external opcode. Must build SSDTs with special flag -oe. Read the makefile for more info.

long time ago, hp 430 is no problem. but 4230s still can't pass here.

i see my hp 4230s dsdt can't open acpi4.0 version. if open it, have many errors.
i want to use snow leopard. The biggest reason I bought the 4230s is Snow Leopard. but now no luck..
my bios is latest 2017.05, f.63
