Hello,

Is it possible to fix headphone mic (combo jack) on HP Probook 450 g4 (0x80869D71, 0x103C8231, 0x14F12008, 0x0101, Conexant (Unknown))?

There were some recent changes for that codec.
Make sure you're using current files from github.

I installed it as described at first post. I used beta.
But the mic from headphones doesn't work.

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

Also, show first page of output from 'git log'.

Your github copy is up-to-date.
Make sure you ran install_downloads.sh recently.

Your drivers64UEFI is not per guide.
OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi is mutually exclusive with OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi.

I've tried install_download.sh again. Also I removed OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi.

Now it's switching to linein but sound from external mic has huge amount of noise. Looks like wrong pins configuration or not properly configured layout. I tried modify config.plist at clover folder, to use another layouts (0,1,20) but without success.

I've found some project on github. https://github.com/vit9696/AppleALC

is it possible to try this on your config?

Make sure you also have correct ACPI content, correct config.plist content.
(as per post #1 instructions)

Keep in mind wern's work was done with High Sierra, not El Capitan.

Hi Rehabman,

My situation:
Laptop connect on dock. External screen attached on dock by DP port. MacOS version is 10.12.6

Problem:
With the laptop lid closed.
1)System's automatic sleep always turn to shut down. if I use Apple->Sleep, it works very well.
2)System can't turn on. it boots loop. While with the laptop lid open, system turn on without any problem.

The problem that listed above didn't appear when I use Yosemite.
Thanks for your effort to add dock support.
