I have an issue with no sound on HP Elitebook 820 G3. The devs are showing all right but there is no sound on internal speakers. I cannot use mute checkbox - this is inactive. Any help?

You did not follow the guide. This guide does not use AppleALC.kext and PinConfigs.kext.

Read post #1 and follow it exactly as written.

OK. Deleted all the extra kext. Cannot find PinConfigs.kext - is it CodecCommander?

NVMeGeneric.kext is a mistake.
If you had an NVMe SSD, see guide:

(but your ioreg shows no NVMe SSD installed)

Your kextcache output shows CodecCommander.kext is not installed.
It is installed by install_download.sh.
Why did you remove it?

Deleted NVMeGeneric and any other NVMe kext. CodecCommander back in the fold. With or without there is no audio coming from the internal speakers.

Do EC reset.
Check settings in SysPrefs->Sound.
Check for working speakers in Windows.
