Your mistake was not with config.plist.
The files in post #6325 still have the incorrect model specific SSDT (wrong argument used for install_acpi.sh).

Understood, finally i have sound.
2 more things, every time i shutdown my laptop, automatically starts again.
I install sierra on this laptop, but have problems with glitch on display. will it be fixed with this tutorial?

Known problem. Try shutting down with no USB devices connected, or shutdown on battery power.
Check BIOS options...

Hi,
Just installed Sierra, followed your guide. I don´t have sound and no battery percentage.
Can you, please, tell me what went wrong?

Read post #1, "Problem Reporting". Carefully. Hint: EFI not requested.

Hi,
I am following this guide from scratch and have got stuck when trying to mount my efi partition to install SSDT
When executing the command in terminal it says the disk is not gpt
As far as i can tell it is. and i can mount it using diskutil in terminal.
mounted the efi volume and it is ms dos fat32, I'm not sure how it was created as such. Is it possible to fix or requires starting again from scratch.

thanks

What is the output of 'mount' in Terminal?
What is the output of 'diskutil list' in Terminal?
Seems like you have a "core storage" setup and forgot to revert it (google 'core storage revert').

reverting core storage worked thank you. Continuing on with guide.

So update ..

When I used this guide on my HP 840 G3 I7 on El Capitan, it always crashes on boot (after I downloaded the kext with terminal and patched the files). So I decided to not to auto install the download kexts and patches and trying to enable them one by one. I managed to get the sound working with VoodooHDA.

But now, after I installed El capitan, I upgraded to Sierra without any problems. I did the guide again and after the boot, it didn't crashed on boot AND my sound still worked (yaaay) and even Apple App Store.

But still I'm missing 2 important things.

- Batterij status missing
I do have a batterij icon in my menu bar, but it doesn't do much. It doesn't show any status.

- HwMonitor doesn't register any data.
So it's hard to monitor vital signs.

I've included my
- ioreg
- complete clover folder
- patchmatic and kextstatus output
- output post installation

Any help would be very appreciated.

Your ioreg shows you're not booting from the EFI/Clover you attached.
