[Guide] HP ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook using Clover UEFI hotpatch (10.11)

Doesn't matter if I select sleep from the menu or leave the lid closed, upon wake the audio is lost. I'm not getting any system sounds like clearing the recycle bin or media sounds from youtube/other websites, or from VLC or quicktime. Added the CLOVER zipped folder in my previous post with the attachments.

Please read post #462. Carefully.

How long is the sleep cycle? Is audio playing as you're choosing sleep?

Also, did you do an EC reset?
Are you running on battery or AC power?
Using headphones or internal speaker?
Is your BIOS up-to-date?

Try removing CodecCommander.kext just to see if it is causing some weird problem.

Sorry...audio is not playing prior to sleep. Sleep cycles longer than 5mins audio is lost.

More questions in #464. Still need EFI/Clover as requested, post #1, "Problem Reporting".

Using headphones or internal speaker? Internal Speakers have not tried headphones
Is your BIOS up-to-date? HP4540s F.60 BIOS

Ok, I'll remove the kext and see if it helps.

EFI/Clover added to original post #461 reporting the problem

Thanks. Keep in mind I won't go back and look at a prior post unless there is reason to...

I don't see much out of place there. The only things I see:
- Clover/kexts is not per guide
- DataHubDxe is not needed, not recommended in the guide

Ok...I'll attempt to redo the Clover Kexts. I had to use the finder method terminal kept giving an error. EC reset and I will report further.

Also CodecCommander.kext suggestion...

I have a 4540s and no problem here.

My attempt to reproduce your bug:
- sound effects in SysPrefs->Sound are enabled when changing volume
- turn on computer
- press volume up/down to verify audio
- Apple->Sleep
- allow the system to sleep... power LED blinking
- press power button, system wakes
- press volume up/down to verify audio

Result: success

HP ProBook 430 G2: i5-5200U - HD5500

When I connect HDMI nothing happened. I try VGA and it works but not the right resolution.

I really need working HDMI and VGA.

Thanks for help!

Please read post #1, "Problem Reporting". Carefully. EFI folder not requested. Provide only EFI/Clover without themes. It will be 3-5mb, not 21mb.
