The way in this thread can be used for the hacking of HP Envy 15-k301tu?
In theory. To my knowledge, no one with a 'K' series has tried this particular guide (I only put it up a week ago or so). But I've helped others with their 'K' series and they are very similar to 'J', so I included both in the thread title.
One way to proceed: Try it and report back.
Second way: Gather all data about the laptop. 'lspci -nn' from Linux. Linux audio codec dump. ACPI dump from Linux (/sys/firmware/acpi/tables), and attach it here.

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution
For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768
Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.
