There is important dual-boot information in post #2 of the main Clover guide:

http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...de-booting-os-x-installer-laptops-clover.html

Hello
Appreciate you're help.
Have attached the files for help with further issues.

1.Unable to toggle bluetooth on/off. (Connects perfectly with a bluetooth keyboard that i have:headbang:)

2.While working, the laptop reboots on its own. I don't understand why. i've read and unchecked the various energy saving options (except show battery status and enable power nap while plugged in)

3.The audio was very poor while playing through iTunes but when using VLC, with full volume on master the sound is much better.

4. the windows installer still at a stand still.
Kept getting the drive is locked error.

also here is the terminal output sir

You did not install compatible BT/WiFi hardware. The ioreg shows Intel. Intel is not supported. Read post #1 regarding compatible/recommended WiFi/BT.

2.While working, the laptop reboots on its own. I don't understand why. i've read and unchecked the various energy saving options (except show battery status and enable power nap while plugged in)

Your ioreg shows USB WiFi plugged in. The problem you report is commonly caused by the poor USB WiFi drivers. Install compatible BT/WiFi hardware.

3.The audio was very poor while playing through iTunes but when using VLC, with full volume on master the sound is much better.

Low audio volume is typical with most hackintosh laptops. No known solution. Also the subwoofers don't work, as noted in post #1. There are some other solutions if you google around (involving VoodooHDA and other things).

4. the windows installer still at a stand still.
Kept getting the drive is locked error.

Make sure you follow the guide as written. Do not create any Windows partitions within Disk Utility. Make sure you create your Windows USB correctly (no 3rd party tools are needed). Make sure your Windows image is a valid retail ISO from Microsoft. Make sure you're booting it in UEFI mode.

yes I do agree that the usb wifi was definitely causing that reboot issue..
The problem is I can't seem to purchase the bt/wifi that you've suggested on Amazon.
Guess they don't ship them here
i did find an alternative(screenshot attached)
am still in a dilemma because most of them say incompatible with hp..

I remember reading in the questions somewhere where you answered stating that it's just seller info which is incorrect.

Please give a thumbsup if the wifi/Bt card is indeed compatible.
Will purchase it then.

Thankyou again image.png

The card is the recommended WiFi/BT card from post #1.

This site is not really for Windows... make sure you have the correct audio drivers installed.

So does the 740m Graphics not work when following this guide???

So does the 740m Graphics not work when following this guide???

It is disabled since it cannot be used.

More details in the FAQ.

@RehabMan Thank you, First of all, for this awesome guide. You made Hackintoshing a piece of cake with the scripts. As a First timer, This helped me a lot.

I was able to setup the
Hackintosh without any problems. I have everything that you said will be working. I am stuck only in the part were the Clover configurator is used to generate a SMBIOS with a dummy plist and then, the SMBIOS is copied to the originally generated config.plist. I did this using plistedit pro. I tried it with MacBookPro 11,1 , MacBookPro 11,2 and both with Trust ON/OFF, but every time I end up with a panic on boot screen. So, Your guidance on this will be really helpful.

The config.plist file in attachment is one of the plist that I created by copying the SMBIOS generated by clover configurator in a dummy plist file to the generated plist file, that caused a panic on boot.

I have attached all the files mention in the problem reporting section below.
