Guide for Installing Snow Leopard on the 4530s Version 3

Status
Not open for further replies.
Version 3.0.4 (December 14th, 2011):
-Updated USB 3.0 kext
-Fixed a problem which still prevented i5 CPU kexts from possibly installing

Also, I am including the files you need to install the same things as the installer. Pretty obvious what does what. This is in the 3rd post of the Lion thread.

hi,
I've bought a hp 4530s + 128GB SSD (Crucial CT128M4SSD2 128GB)
I have snow leopard installed normally.
After this I've run update helper, updated to 10.6.8,install HP Probook Installer
I will then restart when he does not invite further :(
I've also tried with the iBoot disk.
i boot with -v -f Then I come to the screen and nothing happens (can not move mouse and Keyboard)
what can I do?

Try to describe better the problem you have. You said that when you boot, you can see the desktop but is frozen?
Did you try -s

hi,
yes the desktop is frozen,I can only boot with-v-f
I booted with-s.
when I boot it always comes type ....
what should I enter there?
I've also tried using the standard hard drive to install, the same problem
what can I do?

When you boot with -s when is asking you to type, type exit. You can see it. It describes what to do. You can run a check disk by entering the commands that is saying a couple lines before.
Read carefully and you figure it out. It is not difficult.

i type exit, and it remains at
[InterruptReadHandler] Received kIODeviceNotResponding error - retrying:95.
[InterruptReadHandler] Received kIODeviceNotResponding error - retrying:96
[InterruptReadHandler] Received kIODeviceNotResponding error - retrying:97
[InterruptReadHandler] Received kIODeviceNotResponding error - retrying:98
[InterruptReadHandler] Received kIODeviceNotResponding error - retrying:99
[InterruptReadHandler] Received kIODeviceNotResponding error - retrying:100
[InterruptReadHandler] Received kIODeviceNotResponding error - no more retries.

what can i do?

I think i ma doing all well and it should be working on my HP Probook 4530s with i5 2430m, I've got Lion.app but only 4GB USB disk, i have to buy better one :D

After you install the 10.6.8 update (before updating) be sure to run the 4530s installer and select 10.6.8
