Also the hdas -> hdef rename uses an encidingbim unfamilure with as I expected a hex address for the value so unclear what its patching it with. Again just starting to connect everything but really prefect understanding this vs just copying and hoping it works. Hope to try other laptops in the future.

It says the kext is expecting layout id 2. Not sure what the patch tool picked up for the config list IO side. I was looking at that to find the right IO address as I’m suspecting it’s wrong.

Not also you may need FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext.

Indeed, stupid auto correct. I meant, "in an encoding I'm unfamiliar with."

<data> in a plist is in base64.
 
Got it yes I did install there with no effect. I assumed there is more to it.

You will need to provide details on your issue and attach PR files as per FAQ.
I cannot begin to guess what your issue is.
