Is your sleep/wake working after 10.11.2 update ?

Mine hasn't worked since I updated from ML to Yosemite (I skipped Mavericks). No go on El Capitan also. It would sleep for a few seconds, waken, repeat, as described on various posts on the site. Since then, I set my Computer Sleep in Energy Preferences to "Never" and set the DISPLAY to sleep at some short interval. The DISPLAY sleep works fine.

I have a Roswell SD Card /USB Expansion Hub and a few posts indicate that is the problem.

I try post installation with multibeast 801 sleep / wake is working but imessage is not working.

Thanks very much for your guide on the z77x ud5h board. Everything went very smoothly as per your guide.

I was curious if you were able to completely disable SIP as I have tried everything.

When booted into the Recovery HD and invoked CSRUTIL status, it states SIP is DISABLED completely but when I try and install Xtrafinder, I still get the the SIP warning message.

I have tried reconfiguring the config.plist trying 0x67 value both in the Clover Configurator and manually in the config.plist. I still get the SIP window.

Is it possible to completely disable SIP? I have Googled everything available on the subject and tried everything I can think of?

Any advice, or suggestion regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

I apologize if this is the wrong place to inquire about this.

Since I have your same board I thought it appropriate to ask you here.

Thanks,
michebre:)

n3onlit3,

First of all thank you very much for this guide, as I have the same motherboard. I have a question, I followed the guide and used your .mb file since I had installed Multibeast 8.01, however the machine does power down all the way from shutdown on El Capitan. Any suggestions on how to resolve?

ISSUE RESOLVED: It turns out the Main BIOS was in the the process of failing and finally failed. The Main BIOS stuck on the initial Splash Screen and could not select to either enter the Main BIOS or select the Boot Device.

Upon switching to the Backup BIOS and implementing the BIOS selections as described in the guide, there were no issues with shutdown nor with Multibeast provided by n3onlit3. I have update to an EVGA 750TI and no issue on shutdown. Have not tested all configurations potential issues but shall see what happens.

Hello,

Followed your guide and used the .MB file on multi beast for the POST INSTALL. I did not get audio, so I followed the post install guide. Now I still do not have audio, and my resolution is stuck at 720p. What should I do? It boots tho...

You do realize the mb file was for a Z77X-UD5h right?
