Hi there,

I recently buyed a BCM94352HMB (http://www.ebay.de/itm/131448023152?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT).

  1. Description of WiFi/Bluetooth problem
  2. OS X version/motherboard model/BIOS version/processor/graphics
  3. Procedure/Guide Used
I followed the steps in the first post. After installing the BrcmPatchRAM.kext I rebooted and Bluetooth was working fine. Than after a second reboot it stopped working. I'm using a ProBook 4540s with Core i3 and latest BIOS Version. WIFI and 5GHz is working flawlessly.

Here are some files:

I would appreciate your help!

Has anyone seen a BCM943224HMS with device ID 0576? I couldn't get it working and didn't try too hard since I had a 4357 laying around but I can find about 0 info about it online.

Not valid, 943224 device_id: 4353
4357 is noted in Post #1.

Hello,

I just installed my Broadcom BCM4360 card with PCIe 1x adapter but unfortunately only WIFI is working so far and even though it says PHY-mode ac, TX is at 54Mbit/s max.

Concerning bluetooth: I was trying to get Handoff + Continuity to work with a GYMLE Bluetooth dongle before but then decided to go native. Maybe I messed up my IOBluetoothFamily.kext, how can I replace it with the vanilla kext?

OSX 10.10.2 with Clover, for my build have a look at my signature.

I attached the requested screenshots and files and would be really happy if someone could help me.

Thanks a lot!:)

EDIT:
Okay, I just solved my Bluetooth problems, I found my backup of IO80211Family and IOBluetoothFamily :D
Had to use unibeast once to clear the kext-cache because I got a boot error which was most likely caused by the nvidia web driver. Though Wifi is still a bit of a headache at 54 mbit/s max, with the router only 2 meters away...

Description of WiFi problem
Basically, would someone be so kind as to put a current link to ebay or amazon, etc for an inexpensive mini wifi card that will work OOB with no kexts, hacks, patching in Yosemite running on HP probook 4540s. i.e. a link I can click and purchase today (hopefully under $20). If I interpret original post correctly, this unicorn actually exists and the KISS method works best for me. I already purchased an iogear bluetooth dongle which is working ok so wifi + BT is not necessary. I don't mind if the recommended wifi includes bluetooth as long as that doesn't bring its own set of problems.

OR if there's a simple way to get my current BCM943224HM card to work, I'm open to that.
Based on the install guide I used (but obviously misunderstood), I have already purchased and installed an "HP Probook 6440B 6540B Wifi wireless card BCM943224HM" and I can't get it to work in Yosemite. It does work in Win 7 with the right driver. I have tried several different kexts I've found in the main hackintosh sites to no avail. I have spent several days reading page after page on this issue but the more I read the more lost I am getting. I understand you guys are so fluent in this stuff it is child's play and you use a lot of abbreviations to save time. On the other hand, when it comes to OSX, esp the patching, etc. I am a noob. My only experience is building a snow leopard G33M based desktop hackintosh for my wife and upgrading it periodically. That blessed machine is now running a fully functional Mav 9.5 with zero issues. Oh, that is using chameleon bootloader. On this HP Probook, it is my first experience with Clover.

Clover VERSION 3193

Your BCM943224HM will work if you follow the guide you linked.

Problem is you didn't follow the guide... I can tell that your config.plist did not come from the ProBook Installer, so you probably failed to follow the guide in several other ways too.

Note that your device has a non-standard ID:
Code:
03:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM43224 802.11a/b/g/n [14e4:0576] (rev 01) (subsys 14e4:0576)

Not sure if that is something due to your Clover/DSDT config or real. You should run 'lspci -nn' in Linux to verify. The device id should be: 14e4:4353.

If it really does have that strange ID (and still works in Windows?), you can fix it with FakePCIID.
