So I followed another guide on how to make iMessage work and did several things like adding an smUUID and Board Serial Number (in Clover) but I think what made it work was actually 'clear nvram'. Typed in 'nvram -c' in terminal and it worked suddenly.

Now handoff started to work! I get the handoff icon on the dock.. still needs tweaking.

Thanks for the guide first.

Recently, I bought AzureWare CE123H (BCM94352 + BT), and tried to install on the BRIX (XM12-3227).

And I got these steps:

1. Delete Patched DSDT and save native one.
2. Using patch AMI-Clean_Compile-7series first, and compile without problem.
3. Then using BRIX-HD4000-A1 and Airport-Broadcom-BCM94352 patches.
4. Put into CLOVER/ACPI/patched

But after reboot, Mac still can't find wireless card.

So I opened IORegistyExplorer to check what happen. And I found the reason.

Normally, the mini PCI-E card is located at RP04 in DSDT.
But BRIX is located at RP03. So I re-edit the script from RP04 to RP03 and re-patch again.

Now my Wi-Fi can work normally, but BT still not work.
Hope someone can find out what problem.

Airport-Broadcom-BCM94352 Patch Instructions:
# Broadcom BCM4352 WiFi dsdt edits
# Verify IOReg/pci14e4 device @1C,3/RP04, otherwise, edit patch file:
# Find: RP04
# Replace All: name (name = IOReg/pci14e4 device name, RP01, BR01, PEX1, etc.)

BT: see Post #1, BCM94352 BT4
Download and install BrcmPatchRAM.kext

BT works! Thanks for help!

I've just read though some of this and it's a little overwhelming.

In short- my M.2 Realtek wifi adapter won't work. A USB dongle isn't an option (I'm on a laptop).

Am I correct in saying that this device would work:
  • AzureWave AW-CE123H

Can we create a list of working PCI-E or M.2 cards for laptop owners?

Ta

The only "known to work" M.2/NGFF option is BCM94352Z.

Hi, can you tell us what you did other than following this thread? Because I follow along and can't get Handoff to work.

I have an Azurewave CE123H (BCM4352), WiFi and Bluetooth are working.
Installed FakePCIID and FakePCIID_BCM94352Z_as_BCM94360CS2. And for bluetooth BrcmPatchRAM.
Card is recognized as AirPort Extreme (0x14E4, 0x2B23) (Broadcom BCM43xx) under System profiler. That wasn't the case when I had bcm4352.kext installed. (Yes, I deleted it when I installed FakePCIID).
Added the Handoff patch for 10.10.2 and after reboot I can see "Handoff supported: yes" under System profiler>bluetooth.

But it doesn't work. I tried logging out and logging in on iCloud on OS X and on my iOS devices. I then tried it with the 5GHz patches. My country code was "XT" under system profiler>WLAN so I used the "XT/ROW" patch. But I also tried "US/FCC" patch and "US/FCC-dv".

Hi there,

Can you post the contents of System Profiler > WiFi and System Profile > Bluetooth

A follow up concerning my last questions in the thread:

Had a 4331 in real mac and hack imac 13,2 and was confused to lack of full functionality as its a native card in the imac. All was working but handoff, turned out to be using mlb from real mac in multiple hacks. I think that the reason the laptops 4352 did work, had to do with number of digits in mlb. Laptop had a 13 digit(2009) where the imac is 17(2012). Icloud revoked the real macs mlb validity till it was off the other machines

Once removed, it was fixed.
