Going by this list http://www.tonymacx86.com/wiki/index.php/Smbios.plist

I'm going with iMac11,1 as that's my gen i7

Going to try the 12,2 in the Hack with the Quadro and report back later

EDIT - Changed the SMBIOS to iMac11,1 and there's not change in Bench scores still.

I've read lots of other people (some with EVGA GTX760) having the same problem

http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks-desktop-support/112437-no-gpu-power-managment-7.html

Seems to be taking lots of project time away so I'm going to install ML on another HD to see if it's a silver built to the problem..

Thanks for your help guys

Wasted all day on this. Even reinstalled ML - which only gave the same weak performance. Back in 10.9 now, here is the bootloader. Today I noticed that the CPU was running high so I reattached the Heatsink and added new paste. It hasn't made much difference the GPU stays fixed at 979MHz

This is a bug related to OpenCL that was introduced in Mavericks. It affects me too but I still get the normal benchmark scores.

See: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/292663-graphics-no-gpu-power-management/

I also noticed the computer performances of GTX 760 are not very good. If I knew this, I would have taken a different card :(
I also have LuxMark 537, about the same you have. I use a MSI TF OC card.

OK so I'm thinking about building another system - is there a better card to go with then the 760 for a Hackintosh?

It's not going to be for Gaming. It still don't really get why the Quadro was almost as bad. I've rebuilt with 10.9.3 and I haven't re benched yet, just wondering if anyone has any advise on this?

Infact I've just ran the Valley test on a Mavericks Hackintosh running Quadro 6000- and the specs are alarmingly similar. Really could use some pointers here as we have a huge 3D project we're completing...

Thanks guys

Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but I'm seeing bad 760 GTX scores and I'm not sure what to do. My Valley benchmark numbers are about half of those above, also running the "Medium" test at 1920x1080:

FPS: 36.9
Score: 1543
Min FPS: 16.9
Max FPS: 55.1

I'm running a Gigabyte 760 GTX OC 2 GB, along with a i7-950 at 3.2 GHz and 12 GB RAM. I got the 760 GTX mainly for better performance with Borderlands 2, and saw basically no improvement over my 5770 1 GB. The system does recognize the card as a 760 GTX. I'm still running Mavericks (10.9.5).

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! :)

Did you use vally benchmark? I have the Gigabyte Windforce GeForce 760 OC here's my vally benchmark scores as a comparison. Mine seemed to be on par with other users I found on this forum.

Whoops, I quoted the wrong post before. These are the results that are about double mine.

Also, I would have installed the NVIDIA web drivers, but they're for 10.9.4 only.

Again, any help is appreciated!
