Good news for x99 10.11 [Haswell E - El Capitan]

I'm about to try OS X on an Asus X99 Deluxe. I'm not all into that DSDT patching. Bolemo, your DSDT is for BIOS 3004. Did you by any chance already upgrade to 3101? It's supposed to be more stable, some fan problems fixed. Do you also have a DSDT for that revision, you could share?

I did not, but I just downloaded the new BIOS, and will have that patched and running by tomorrow. I will then post the patched DSDT.

config.plist and Clover Setting notes


1 Disable nvidia graphics

2.Dont injact cpu ID just leave blank

3.Dont add dsdt and wifi kext

4.install All kext to refi (update 10.11.5)

5.Add Change 15 Port Limit To 30 patch.

6.Install patched SSDT-3.aml

7.Make sure install kexts and uefi drivers and config.plist and SSDT-3.aml

Clover boot menu space bar to select verbose boot.


After OSX install you have to install graphics

Install patched AppleGraphicsControl.kext and don't used my DSDT

Enable nvidia graphics or change config.plist from after install folder

Restart.

With this patch, and using SMBIOS MacPro6,1 and a Nvidia, no need to worry about patching AppleGraphicsControl.kext with system updates as I my SSDT-X99DLX_NVIDIA is using GFX1.

with this patch my EHC1 controller is not loaded. One of the USB 2.0 bus is missing.

With the old patch, EHC1 and EHC2 are there.

So this is patched DSDT to replace the other, for Asus X99 Deluxe, BIOS 3101, to use with the SSDT patches I provided earlier.

Before apply this patch you have to change devices name.

# 1. Under Device BR3A - Verify IOReg/H000

# 2. Rename device H000 to device IGPU

So this is patched DSDT to replace the other, for Asus X99 Deluxe, BIOS 3101, to use with the SSDT patches I provided earlier.
