Glitchy boot screen, is this normal?

The latest Yosemite is running on my new Mac mini deluxe build, but 1/3 through the process the white load screen flashes black then gets glitchy and finishes the boot. I'm having network problems post installation and was wondering if the boot process in hackintosh' are glitchy sometimes or if this is a cause for concern.

Mine does a bit of a similar thing. On boot, the progress bar gets about 1/3 complete, then screen goes black, progress bar shows up in the corner, then login screen shows up, totally normal. Hasn't caused me any problems.
