Hi,

I changed from GTX970 to GTX1070.
In desktop mode the fans shouldn't run.
Only when the GPU reaches a predefined temperatur the fans should run (60 degrees).
But in my case one of the fans (3 in sum) is running again and again.
That means:
Off - on -off - on -off -on... Really annoying.
Have anybody same problems?

I don't know what for temperatures my GPU has because HWMonitor do not show stats for the graphic card.
Had no luck with the new kext for hwsensor.

Regards

That sounds normal. Gigabyte call it 3D fan control.

There is a utility available from Gigabyte for Windows that allows you to change the default fan start temperature and also turn on or off the 3D mode. Sadly not available for Mac so you need to run Windows to change settings.
