This is a guide for our GA-Z170N-Wifi setup
The Machine:
GA-Z170N-Wifi
Intel i5-6400
16GB Ram (2x 8GB Sticks)
430W PSU
240 Crucial SSD
On Board Intel 530 Graphics (HDMI port used)
Information / Requirements
There are several other threads into this, mainly this one:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/success-mini-itx-ga-z170n-wifi.192240/
We choose the Z board, even though no 'K" CPU, as they were cheaper and future proofing.
These are being setup as workstations, for everyday use, so all items are assessed for stability.
We will not use the Wifi, which stock is incompatible anyway (see other threads)
We need QHD resolution to work for the Samsung monitors, we have. Multi monitor setup (two monitors per machine)
Setup:
Create your UniBeast install, we used 10.11.4 OS X.
Configure your BIOS, as per the guidelines on here, and follow the install.

Post Install
Running MultiBeast 8.2+
- Quick Start - UEFI
- Drivers:
Issues:
No Audio - no device in System Settings.
- No resolution as yet
RAM
- Only 8GB reported, 2x 4GB sticks
- No resolution yet, but threads suggest its cosmetic.
Graphics
- Tearing on first start, but nothing else
- Plenty of tearing in use, flash doesnt work at all
- Further testing needed
