Hi folks, I'm pretty new with hackintosh, but I tried to adapt this guide to my config:
i7-6800k, Asus X99 Deluxe/u3.1, Asus 980ti strix, 64gb Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2400 (4x16gb)

badly don't work :(

I followed this guide and tried:
- upgrade BIOS to latest firmware (3301)
- kernel flag npci=0x3000, slide=0, nvda_drv=1, nv_disable=1 in various combo
- FAKECPUID 0x0306E0, 0x0306F0, 0x0306A0
- KernelPm, KernelHaswellE, Apple RTC
- Also tried with OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi, OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi and Test2-2016.efi
- VoodooTSCSync.kext (set to 11) and NullCPUPowerManagement.kext

Nothing to do, i reach always this kernel panic message:

Great tutorial! Have everything working as per your instructions. Does this setup work with macOS Sierra? I've tried it and it immediately reboots after the verbose line [PCI Configuration Begin]. Curious if it my hardware or if it's not working for anyone else. Let me know!

Mobo: Asus X99-II
CPU: Intel 6800K
GPU: XFX Radeon Rx 480 8GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB

The latest security update 2016-002 from Apple will kill the 10.11.6 build once installed with the new nvidia drivers package WebDriver-346.03.15f04.pkg

I did a complete new build as per guide, installed all available updates from the store (including the 2016-002 update) rebooted fine, installed the latest nvidia drivers and ran the two step patch for Mac Pro profile 6,1 as per the guide with nvda_drv=1 enabled and then rebooted. System boots past DSMOS and then reboots everytime when it tries to load the nvidia Web drivers.

Have nv_disable=1 enabled still won't boot into desktop. Tried different options and no go.

So Rebuilt 10.11.6 again with all updates excluding the 2016-002 but installed the 2016-001 update and configured as per guide, all good again. Working fine with the
Nvidia WebDriver-346.03.15f03.pkg ;)

Still no USB 3.1 ports working....:banghead:

@DylanKpak

I haven't got macOs Sierra working yet with using this guide as a reference. I get that same reboot at line [PCI Configuration Begin]
& i have tried everything and no go. I believe it's just not compatible with my Broadwell i7 6900K. Hopefully there will be a solution soon...:banghead: ;)

Or it could be MOTHERBOARD specific incompatibility...who knows right? All comes down to hardware...

Guide worked flawlessly. Thank you for all the effort and work put into this. I am using the 6850K and wanted to overclock. Does oc work? Don't know if I saw any details on that.

If you refer to Sierra install, follow these guidelines:
remove unuseful kernel flags and put only npci=0x2000 and darkwake=0 if you will use sleep/wake;
uncheck in clover KernelPM and KernelHaswellE...don't need anymore;
use OsxAptioFixDrv-free2000 instead of those 3 you put;
try Fakecpuid 0x40674;
remove NullCPU...there is no more need to use it;
I attach you a config.plist as example, where you can take patches for kexts to use to boot the system.

@thenightflyer

I have used your config.plist and your above guidelines and without using a CPU power management option (in Clover) I get a CPU panic when trying to boot the USB stick. When a PM option is selected I manage to boot USB stick up to the [PCI Configuration Begin] stage where it automatically reboots. I cannot get it past this stage, let alone to the installer & i have tried everything...:banghead:

Guess I will stick to El Capitan for now...hope someone out there has a solution for i7-6900K & Asus Rampage V Edition 10 with GTX 980 Ti for Sierra...???

Thanks ;)

I'm also having trouble with 'audio_cloverALC-110_v1.0s10.command' not completing. Everything else working. I've tried all the audio command scripts but none complete. Any help appreciated.
