My hackintosh says my machine has two monitor connected, but actually I have one HDMI connected and I can move my mouse off the screen.
I have found a post that similar to my problem, but it's for 5xxx series.

Anyone has a problem as mine?
Need for solution, thx :)

Intel Core Quad Q9400
Asus P5G41T-M LX (with latest bios)
8GB RAM
XFX Radeon 6450 1GB

I had the same problem with my hd4850. It turned out that the ethernet device string obtained by EFIstudio in the boot.plist was causing the card to detect the VGA ghost display and not my HDTV. Try erasing the device string if you have one and reboot.
