I have no idea why you are posting this here as it is completely off topic. But if you are using the older PCI-X HD cards then if you did your research you would know that they do not work on the Z/H/P series boards starting with socket 1155 as native PCI is no longer included. You have to use Q or B series boards which still have native (non-bridged) PCI. If your using PCIe HD cards i have no idea and you should post in the correct thread.

Got my system up and running with normal display at thunderbolt ports, but i get a kernel panic at boot with my tunderbolt display? Any thoughts on that?

Z77x-UP4 TH
intel i7 2700k
16 gb of corsair vengeance ram
OCZ agility 3 120 gb SSD
1 tb WD HDD storage
no graphics card

I found a fix that worked for me:

Disabling the option VT-d on the Bios allowed me to never feel like punching the screen on the apple!

I also have an nvidia gtx 660 ti, and works great

Can't get the network running yet though
