Fresh install recover from time machine

Greetings,
I couldn't quite find an answer to this specific type of time machine restore. I am about to build my first hackintosh for work. Currently I work on a macbook pro running sierra.

My question is; is it possible to set up a fresh hackintosh from a time machine back up? I'd like to bring over how my work environment is set up without going through all the stuff to get it going? I'm thinking it probably won't work though after reading how installs go.

Does anyone have any experience with this. I am certain that the build I am going for will work without issue, an i7 and gtx1080.

I did it twice from a macbook pro. Worked like a charm.

Just setup your hackintosh first with the right clover settings and kexts and them use the migration assistant.

I am not 100% sure but i guess i already used it in the installation process too.
