I'm trying to get HDMI audio working on my build and have been having a very frustrating experience. I've tried a couple different guides but the most recent one I tried was this one http://forums.macrumors.com/threads/guide-hdmi-audio.1499797/
However I've had the same issue when trying this method found in this forum: http://www.tonymacx86.com/hdmi-audio/143760-audio-hdmi-audio-applehda-guide.html
Every time I try any of these it breaks my OS X launch so that it hangs at the loading bar when launched. using -v shows that it gets to loading Bluetooth then stops which after some googling seems to mean it's not launching the graphics card properly.
My setup:
Graphics: GTX 670
Mobo: Sabertooth 7ZZ (latest BIOS update but no patching done as it was working fine without it)
Setup: Used Unibeast with regular setup and my audio driver add on (Realtek® ALC892)
Not sure what these HDMI things are breaking in my boot, hopefully someone with a little more experience can help me out
