Yes, otherwise you would not have any graphics acceleration at all.

Ensure that you are applying the fake-id and ig-platform-id in clover for your Intel HD4600.

How should I get the original files (AppleIntelHD5000Graphics and libCLVMIGILPlugin.dylib) back in the system so that I can use the recent solution.


also I am using clover and wondering that can I place FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_HD4600_HD4400.kext in the EFI\CLOVER\kexts\10.10?

How should I get the original files (AppleIntelHD5000Graphics and libCLVMIGILPlugin.dylib) back in the system so that I can use the recent solution.

Do a fresh install to another partition. Then copy the file.

also I am using clover and wondering that can I place FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_HD4600_HD4400.kext in the EFI\CLOVER\kexts\10.10?

It is reported they work from Clover/kexts as well as /S/L/E.

ow yeah, something i forgot to mentioned, if i logout and after that login back its fixed.... but its annoying to do that every time

It is a Clover config.plist-based kext patch... It is for KextsToPatch section of config.plist.
