I follow all steps and when I install nvidia drivers, after I boot i cant see anything, just glitched grey screen (I have 2 monitors, one with DVI and the other with HDMI)
Help pls ;(

Thank you very much for this guide, I was having same issue after updating clover + high sierra version, black screen with web drivers but functioning computer.

I tried all the steps without removing the drivers completely and reinstalling - didnt work
Removed all drivers and followed guide to the letter - works.

EDIT:

Also had second monitor plugged into motherboard (intel gfx), the second I removed it and plugged it in the gfx card, it all came back!

TL;DR
Dont waste time like me, reinstall the drivers first and follow the guide & make sure you don't have anything plugged into the internal GPU (motherboard)

,.....

Viola! Three working monitors at full 2560x1440 resolution, deterministic booting with boot monitor and login monitor not changing, and the boot process itself is now in full resolution too.

I'm going to go back and remove/undo the changes made (other than CSM) to see exactly what minimum viable configuration works here.

What about sleep. Do you use it? Do the displays wake up from the sleep?

Hi!!!
I have a problem with my msi gtx 960 4 gb, and that is because the hackintosh does not detect it. My mobo is Asus b85m-g
In clover if it comes out, and even having installed nvidia web drivers the exit.
I attach photos and EFI

Thanks, and sorry for my English

what is proper comp¿
comp = computer.

Your post indicates, that you haven't built properly your hackintosh computer. Seek some installation and post installation guides for your motherboard or similar configuration and other relevant guides to build proper comp. GeForce GTX 960 should work fine if you have installed your comp properly. Proper SMBIOS, Clover settings etc. This thread is for fixing NVIDIA issues on properly built comp, not about building a comp. I guess you should start from the scratch.

There are two important sections in this Forum:

Hi !
I have a hackintosh that was working fine on El Capitan up until I decided to upgrade to High Sierra. I have spent hours trying to figure out what is wrong. Please help !

My build :
- Asus sabertooth Z77
- i7 3770K
- Nvidia Quadro 4000
- SSD Hard drive.

I have tried all methods in this post (and others), but whatever I do I end up with a black screen and a grey wheel. When both screens are plugged in, on HDMI or DVI regardless, tried any of these, the mouse is there and the screens seem to respond. But no image.

Here is what I did (if I remember correctly) :

- Bios Flash
- Bootable key using Unibeast
- Fresh install of High Sierra (tried HFS+ and APFS, last one APFS)
- Update to the latest version
- High Sierra Multibeast (screenshot for details)
o Clover UEFI Boot Mode
o Driver ALC892
o Fake SMC
o Fake SMC plugins
o Fake SMC HWMonitor Application
o NullCPUPowerManagement
o Core Graphics Fixup AKA Whatevergreen
o Network AppleIntelE1000e
o Bootloader Clover UEFI Boot Mode + Emulated NVRAM
o iMac 14,2
o NVIDIA Web Drivers Boot Flag
- Reboot

I checked that Lilu, Whatevergreen were in L/E, S/L/E, EFI/KEXTS/Other, and EmuVariableUefi.efi into /EFI/CLOVER/Drivers64UEFI
- CsrActiveConfig to 0x00 using Clover Configurator.Reboot
- Mount EFI partition of your Clover
- Edit Colver configuration file, set SIP related setting CsrActiveConfig to 0x67
- Do not reboot yet!
- Install Nvidia Web Driver and reboot as installer demands.

High Sierra version: 10.13.6 (17G3025)
Web Driver version: 387.10.10.10.40.108

Can boot with NV_DISABLE=1 but Quadro 4000 isn’t recognized. So I have really crappy graphics.

I have been messing around with many settings. CSM in Bios enabled, UEFI first then Legacy (tried other way round, no luck). Tried plugging monitors to different ports.

Also the USB bootloader is now extremely slow to load to Clover interface (like 2 minutes)

Please help ! :(

Actually there is no way to help you based on infromation you posted. Also please note, that this is NVIDIA drivers related thread not High Sierra installation help thread. You should search for related threads for solutions how to properly install High Sierra.
