Yes you _must_ specify the max/native resolution.

OK, Ill give that a shot. Can anyone tell me why I have to keep resetting the bios? How does this affect the bios at all? Everything works perfectly well with the same bios settings and windows.

I cant even seem to boot with unibeast now. see attachments.

OK, I finally took the time to bring a tv into my office and hook up with HDMI. it works. Son if a B. It boots properly.....so far, and it seems to be going smooth. I think I am going to go buy a Cinema display tomorrow and see if that works better by sending everything (camera, speakers, usb) over USB instead of thunderbolt. What a pain in the A. What can I do to test the stability of this now that it is running?

How is he suppose to do that when the Thunderbolt Display is TB only, no DVI.

I understand what he mean. Try something else to get it working. I will be buying something in the next day or 2.

Jesaf00,

You can't go plugging/unplugging the Thunderbolt cable on the ports like that. The Gigabyte board doesn't support hotplugging unlike the Apple ones. So if you are planning to use the Thunderbolt ports I suggest you plug the display on TP1 first as standby and boot into the system with it. You may also need to put in the device ID key of the Intel HD 4000 board into your org.chameleon.Boot.plist which is found under one of the other threads here (ignoring the EFI string-injection part) > https://www.google.com/url?q=http:/...ds-cse&usg=AFQjCNG7uFncsFGjgFRprRVMiSrGoThfeQ
