Failed to update to 10.11.3

Hello,
I've been running on 10.11.2 (Clover) for a while with no issues. So i was going through the forum reading about people updating to 10.11.3 with no issues so i ventured out and tried updating straight from the AppStore.

After the update was done, the system rebooted but then i always, always, got stuck on a line after the system was waiting for the graphics controller. I tried both with nv_disable and nvda_drv with no luck. At the end i went and restored from a time machine backup and i'm back on my previous system.



Can someone point me to the cause of the freezing on booting while updating to the latest El Capitan?

Maybe try installing the latest Nvidia drivers on 10.11.2 and then do the update?

If it does freeze, please boot verbose and post a screen photo.
