EVGA P55 SLI Audio Issue

Ugh...

Every night I come home from work to a "Not Responding" message with finder causing me to have to restart the computer.

This didn't happen before I started dicking around with the audio. I may have to redo my entire computer to a time machine back up from a few weeks ago...which I am not excited about.

Throwing in the towel folks...

Thanks for all the help, but I am having no luck with the audio and wound up causing my system to become unstable.

After some difficulty I was able to get a stable back up of my system from Time Machine. For now I will stick with my USB audio and leave the built-in stuff alone.
