I can't seem to get my GPU to function properly nor is it being recognised by OS X El Capitan, I haven't tried the DVI in the on board graphics but would like to avoid them if possible and get GPU working.

I have used clover to add the flag: nvda_drv=1

When I added the above flag the OS wouldn't start it would load the bar half way at apple logo boot screen then system would restart so I'm now current back in the system with only the current default flag: dart=0 which was applied automatically when the OS was installed.

Clover config.plist (Screenshots): ACPI Settings - http://prntscr.com/b743jb BOOT Settings - http://prntscr.com/b744jo
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND ALTHOUGH CHECKED I HAVE HAD TO REMOVE FLAG IN CLOVER EFI TO BOOT INTO OS

About This Mac (Screenshot): http://prntscr.com/b73ynl

System Specs

CPU: Intel i5 6400
MOBO: GA-Z170-HD3P
RAM: 8 GB DDR4
GPU: EVGA GTX 950 (FTW Edition)

What happens if you use the boot argument: nv_disable=1 at the Clover screen?

I haven't attempted that, would it be much use that would only boot OS without the drivers anyway right?

Right now I only boot with dart=0 and that lets me in the OS but graphics/animations are not smooth.

Do you have the latest Nvidia web drivers installed?

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

Definition 3,1 lets me boot with nada_drv=1 but it still shows as OS X Intergrated graphics and not Nvidia. Although it feels they are enabled?

Same as me. I'm using MacPro 3,1 also. I could never get to the desktop using iMac 17,1.

I'm told that the system is using the Nvidia drivers, even though OS X reports that it's using the default graphics, and that this has something to do with the fact my board doesn't support NVRAM. Must be the same with your board.

Glad you got it working!
