I had this issue earlier today. I fixed it by installing Clover v2.4k r4411 on my macOS bootable USB with the following options:
  • Install for UEFI booting only (also selects Install Clover in the ESP)
  • Drivers64UEFI -> OsxAptioFixDrv-64
What if your on Legacy Boot Mode???

Did you ever get this sorted? I'd think the only difference would be ensuring your USB 2.0 ports are active/enabled in your BIOS, and to plug the USB install drive into a USB port soldered directly to the motherboard.

Hope that helps! Best of luck

I did not have the option to change this during the Unibeast stage. But I did manage to add it in separately. Unfortunately I still keep getting stuck at :End RandomSeed ++++++++++++++++++++++
Don't know what to change to get past this problem.
Try making a new USB install drive. On a real Mac, reformat the USB install drive, delete its EFI partition, install High Sierra via App Store and terminal command, then use Clover r4961 to install OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.kext to the USB's EFI/CLOVER/drivers64/UEFI.

For more info, check this: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/installing-high-sierra-from-usb-pendrive.233028/

I can only speak from my experience in installing macOS High Sierra on my Z270.
