Elitebook 8560p + Dockingstation = no sound

This is probably going to be a noob question, but I want to try and get the sound working on my dock, but in AppleHDAIDT.kext there is a Platforms.xml.zlib file. How to I decompress this binary file to edit it and then compress it again?

Search for an AppleHDA patching guide and you'll find zlib.pl.

Did either of you guys ever solve this one? I am having the same issue on my 8460p w/ the headphone jack. Audio is fine through the laptop speakers, but once I plug in headphones, I get nothing.

Sound with Dockingstation - Nope due to lack of time
Sound with headphones - yes, common bug. Send your HP to sleep and wake it up again; now it should work
