El Capitan graphics glitch on boot and in some apps

Hi.

I'm up and running with El Capitan with minimal post-install tweaks. Only major problem is I'm seeing a weird graphics glitch after loading screen and also in some apps like Messages. I've attached a screenshot.

Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H
ATI Radeon HD6970

Can anyone shed some light? I've had a look around the forum and did a fair bit of Google searching but the issues I'm finding are not exactly the same.

I'm having the same problem as you, same graphics glitch, or was, but for the most part mine has gone away after I followed advice in this thread: http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/187162-gt-740-not-being-recognized-el-capitan-out-ideas.html Maybe it will be helpful for you also?
