When i boot El Capitan Clover from an external hard drive (put the drive in an enclosure) either from USB 2.0 or 3.0, it boots normally. But when i take the drive out of the enclosure and put it inside my laptop as an internal hard drive, it doesn't boot and shows me the stop sign

I have an hp pavilion dv6
I boot with these bootflags : cpus=1 GraphicsEnabler=N USBBusFix=Y -f

Processor : Intel Core i7 2670QM Sandy Bridge
Motherboard Model : 181B
BIOS : Insyde (version F.09)
Memory : 8GB RAM
GPU : Intel HD Graphics 3000, and nVidia GEFORE GT 630M 2GB

This is what happens when i boot in verbose when internal

This leads me to think that there might be a problem with OSX detecting ur SATA controller, as it doesn't work internally (assuming using SATA controller), and it does when it's external (USB) ...

Don't really have much to offer here but maybe look into ur SATA controller not being detected properly ...
I would start by figuring out the device ID of ur SATA controller (maybe use a Linux / Ubuntu live session USB)

Perhaps your SATA controller is in RAID mode. Must be in AHCI mode... check BIOS.

There is no option to change to AHCI mode in BIOS
In device manager on Windows 8 i don't have IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers
I have in Storage Controllers Intel(R) ICH8M-E/ICH9M-E SATA RAID Controller
Does that mean i can't change it to AHCI mode ?
Thanks in advance!

Couldn't understand how to check device ID of my SATA controllers, but in Windows 8 in Device manager i can see
Intel(R) ICH8M-E/ICH9M-E SATA RAID Controller in Storage Controllers. Does that help ? Thanks in advance
