If that worked for you, fine. The posted procedure is correct...

I'm having an issue booting Clover from the USB stick. I went into my BIOS and chose to boot from the Clover USB stick, but nothing happens. I see the USB drive, listed in two items. One is actual product name (Corsair Slider) and the other starts with "UEFI". When I selected the UEFI, my screen blinks black for a second, and I'm returned to the same BIOS screen again; whilst choosing the Corsair Slider option, only boots into Chamelon (which eventually take me back to 10.9).

Any clue?

Did you install Clover legacy or UEFI?

I just went with the default option.

Does it have anything to do with Secure Boot option in ASUS' UEFI? I can't seem to disable Secure Boot, other than choosing "Other OS" (the other option is Windows UEFI).

It has nothing to do with secure boot if you didn't install UEFI, if you did choose "other OS"...

Alright nevermind I figured everything out and am now using yosemite:thumbup:

Alright, I just reimaged the USB stick, using r2957; and using HFSPlus.efi

This time around, I went with the full-on UEFI Booting Only option.

I'm going to try changing Secure Boot to "Other OS".

Good luck with it.

In the OP it states: *This process assumes you are familiar with Clover...
If you need Clover support I'd recommend the links below.

Three cheers to dev's here. It's not an easy task to have these ready and offered as soon
as a new OS is released.

I tested a install using Unibeast 5.0 and Multibeast 7.0.
It all worked quite nicely, I'd suggest you use this sites tools...

Good luck with it.

I managed to run Yosemite's installer through the USB stick, after selecting UEFI mode only and Selecting Other OS in Asus UEFI menu.

However, I keep getting stuck after the installer finish copying the files, and just at "About a second remaining" it got stuck.

Edit:
nevermind. I'm stupider than usual, with all the excitement and impatience. Apple lied about being "about a second".
