DSDT for Asus Maximus V GENE Z77 ! :)

i can try and write a guide that compiles all the information in here might take a week or 2 with my limited spare time.


also i found that the as media data controller is a asm1061 chip that is supposedly supported on 10.7

i'm currently looking into that i need the drive port for more data storage
 
yep the as media data controller works OOB for me

i'll try and to a fresh install later to a drive that is connected to one of the as media data ports and report back
 
wow AngelFox your a genius! nice work :) a guide will be a very nice idea!... because i want to fresh install my OS, but I don`t dare to make it without a guide:)

Cool but you guide han an error.
The network card is a Intel e1000 chip and Not an realtek chip you should update that part :)

And nice to see another build :)
 
Thank you so MUCH I didn't think it was a Realtek chip...followed someone else's advice. But I'm typing this to you on my stable 10.7.4 Build. :thumbup:
 
It has been a pretty stable board for me since my first complete install including 5.1 sound

The only thing I need right now is time to get speed stepping working and update my system with the dsdt

I'm just writing from my stable version of 10.7.4 too and i have your same hardware ( cpu and motherboard ). Of course i can not use sleep mode or speedstep, did you make any progress ?
 
Speed step is enabled for me? How to tell if it's working? I have turbo at 4.8Ghz Stable. Is it working?
