Hi All,
I have been editing on my MBP late 2013 and it is starting to really struggle and Im ready to take the plunge into the Hacintosh world!
I spend all day editing 4K in premiere pro so I'm trying to build a pretty solid unit.
After recently seeing @juliodm have success with his i7-8700k I want to go down a similar path to step up from a 4 core CPU to a 6 core CPU. I'd like to be able to comfortably work in photoshop while exporting in premiere (Maybe 6 core is not enough and I should wait and see if the i7-7820X will be released in the new iMac pro and go from there?).
Below is the list of components I am thinking of purchasing. I know a few things are overkill but the total price is still going to be wayyyy cheaper than an up spec new iMac pro...
Please let me know if I should stay away from any of these items or if there's something I'm missing?
Or if I should hold out and see what happens after the iMac pro is released...
Thank you!
