Hi, thanks for all the info in this thread.

Regrettably, all I get form that link is an error message saying "Unfortunately, the download limit for the day has been reached, please try again within 24 hours". Not exactly the kind of support you would expect for this product...

Did you guys have a clean download? Is there any alternative download link?

Thanks, didn't work either. Strangely, the 970 EVO Plus download is not hosted in the same server as the other downloads in that page (and those work OK).

Also, I attached the firmware itself to download if someone has problems.

Are you referring to the 3.1 version here: https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/970evoplus/ or to a newer version ?

Note that you have to scroll all the way to the end of the linked page to find the download.

The link you provided is for the nvme driver version 3.1, and the firmware for the disk is fixed by mail above its version 2B2QEXM7.

@bootpcanon: That's great news can you confirm that you're getting the full speed (meaning not a fraction of the supposed speed) and that you're not encountering problems running mac OSX? Thanks for the feedback.

I just tried to install Mojave 10.14.5 on 970 Evo Plus with latest firmware 2B2QEXM7.
During installation and when it was 2 minutes remaining, it rebooted....
